LAS VEGAS -- Victoria Vivians scored 20 points to lead No. 21 Mississippi State to a 68-42 victory over Miami (Ohio) on Sunday in the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic.
Mississippi State is now one of only seven unbeaten teams in Division I.
Breanna Richardson added 12 points for Mississippi State (14-0). Vivians made 9 of 17 shots and had four rebounds and three steals. Martha Alwal had three blocked shots to move into sole position of 8th place in SEC career history.
Baleigh Reid led Miami (Ohio) (2-7) with nine points as the Redhawks were held to 16-of-53 shooting and turned the ball over 24 times.
The Bulldogs were held to well below their 86.2 points per game average and had their second lowest point total of the season.
Mississippi State opened the second half on a 15-4 run, pushing its lead to 46-22.
