The Artist
With 6 consecutive world championship titles in the all-around, and a gold medal in the same event at London 2012, Kohei Uchimura has dominated the world of gymnastics since 2009.
The Japanese artist, who will surely go down as one of the greatest gymnasts in history, is now determined to continue his winning streak in Rio.
Uchimura's breathless performances often leave his rivals trailing in his wake. At the 2011 worlds in Tokyo, he finished a staggering 3 points clear of the silver medallist, Philipp Boy.
"He's unique," admits the German. "Everything he does is not only magnificent, it's flawless."
At 27, Uchimura can underline his dominance by becoming just the 4th gymnast to win back-to-back Olympic all-around titles.
