ESPN Fantasy Projection: The finish to Lafreniere's season was probably the most encouraging thing that happened in an otherwise awful season in New York. Following Artemi Panarin's trade to the Kings in February, Lafreniere posted 12 goals and 25 points in 26 games to close the year. He appeared in all 82 games for a third straight season, while his 57 points tied a career-best mark. There's reasons to be excited moving forward. Set to play the entirety of next season at age 25, Lafreniere looks poised to take another step given his enhanced role with the man advantage. It's likely worth taking the plunge once again from a fantasy standpoint given the fact Lafreniere seems unlikely to cost a ton on draft day.
