Undefeated Bellator MMA welterweight Michael Page will face Derek Anderson at Bellator 179 on May 19.
Bellator officials confirmed the 170-pound pairing Friday, following an initial report by The Daily Telegraph. The event takes place in Page's native London.
Page (12-0) had campaigned for a fight against fellow British striker Paul Daley, however Daley will face Rory MacDonald in the main event instead. Page, 29, has long been considered one of Bellator's most talented welterweights, but has not yet faced the highest level of competition.
He is coming off a split decision win against Fernando Gonzalez in November. A former freestyle kickboxer, Page is known for his flashy, hands down style. He has seven career knockouts.
Anderson (14-3) will be moving up from the lightweight division. He is 5-3 in the Bellator cage and is coming off a decision loss to Derek Campos last month in Los Angeles.
