GLENDALE, Ariz. -- — Trenton McLaughlin had 21 points in Northern Arizona's 78-69 win over VMI on Saturday in the Arizona Tip-Off.
McLaughlin added three steals for the Lumberjacks (2-3). Jayden Jackson scored 18 points while shooting 5 for 12 and 8 of 12 from the free throw line. Carson Basham was 6 of 10 shooting to finish with 13 points, while adding 10 rebounds.
The Keydets (1-4) were led by Tyran Cook, who posted 20 points. Koree Cotton added 13 points and six rebounds for VMI. Stephen Olowoniyi also had 12 points and six rebounds.
