DOVER, Del. -- — Deywilk Tavarez scored 31 points as Delaware State beat Norfolk State 85-71 on Saturday night.
Tavarez also contributed 10 assists and five steals for the Hornets (13-15, 6-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Jevin Muniz scored 16 points while going 7 of 13 from the floor, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and 1 for 3 from the line, and added five assists. Martez Robinson was 6 of 14 shooting, including 0 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line to finish with 16 points.
