Munden scores 23, leads Fairleigh Dickinson over Wagner 57-54
NEW YORK -- — Joe Munden Jr. scored 23 points and Sean Moore made four free throws in the final 63 seconds to help Fairleigh Dickinson ease past Wagner 57-54 on Saturday.
Munden added six rebounds for the Knights (15-16, 9-7 Northeast Conference). Ansley Almonor finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Terrence Brown also scored 10. Moore was 1 for 6 from the floor before his first two free-throw attempts gave the Knights a 55-53 lead. His final two came with two seconds remaining.
The Seahawks (13-15, 7-9) were led by Melvin Council Jr. with 16 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Keyontae Lewis added 14 points. Julian Brown pitched in with eight points, seven rebounds and four assists.
