CHARLESTON, S.C. -- — Keyshaun Langley scored 21 points as UNC Greensboro beat Citadel 76-61 on Wednesday night.
Langley shot 9 for 15, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc for the Spartans (18-8, 9-4 Southern Conference). Donovan Atwell was 6 of 15 shooting (5 for 12 from 3-point range) to add 17 points. Joryam Saizonou finished 5 of 6 from the field to finish with 12 points.
The Bulldogs (9-17, 1-12) were led by AJ Smith, who posted 20 points, 11 rebounds and two steals. Quentin Millora-Brown added 14 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and two blocks for Citadel. In addition, Elijah Morgan had nine points and two steals. The loss was the Bulldogs' sixth straight.
Both teams next play Saturday. UNC Greensboro visits Wofford and Citadel plays VMI at home.
