VERMILLION, S.D. -- — Zeke Mayo scored 20 points as South Dakota State beat South Dakota 73-55 on Saturday.
Mayo added six rebounds and five assists for the Jackrabbits (11-9, 4-1 Summit League). Charlie Easley added 19 points while going 9 of 12 (1 for 3 from 3-point range), and he also had three steals. Luke Appel finished 6 of 13 from the field to finish with 12 points.
The Coyotes (9-11, 2-3) were led in scoring by Jevon Hill, who finished with 15 points and two blocks. South Dakota also got 10 points from Kaleb Stewart.
