KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- — B.J. Omot's 30 points led North Dakota over UMKC 82-69 on Saturday.
Omot had five rebounds for the Fightin' Hawks (9-10, 1/3 Summit League). Tyree Ihenacho scored 20 points and added five assists. Amar Kuljuhovic was 4 of 5 shooting and 3 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 11 points. The Fightin' Hawks stopped a six-game losing streak with the win.
The Kangaroos (7-12, 1-3) were led in scoring by Babacar Diallo, who finished with 14 points, seven assists and three steals. Jamar Brown added 13 points and seven rebounds for UMKC. In addition, Khristion Courseault had 13 points.
