EDINBURG, Texas -- — Three players scored 14 points in UT Rio Grande Valley's 76-68 victory over Utah Valley on Saturday night.
Daylen Williams had 14 points and six rebounds for the Vaqueros (6-11, 2-4 Western Athletic Conference). Elijah Elliott scored 14 points and added five assists. JJ Howard shot 6 for 8, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 14 points, while adding three blocks.
The Wolverines (8-9, 3-3) were led in scoring by Trevin Dorius, who finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. Jaden McClanahan added 12 points and two steals for Utah Valley. In addition, Drake Allen finished with 11 points and two blocks.
