Green lifts New Orleans over McNeese St. 82-77

LAKE CHARLES, La. -- Troy Green had a career-high 25 points as New Orleans narrowly beat McNeese State 82-77 on Saturday. Bryson Robinson added 21 points for the Privateers.

Lamont Berzat had seven rebounds for New Orleans (8-18, 4-12 Southland Conference). Gerrale Gates added eight rebounds and six assists.

Sha'markus Kennedy had 22 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Cowboys (12-15, 7-9), whose losing streak reached six games. Dru Kuxhausen added 12 points. Myles Hutchinson had 12 points.

The Privateers leveled the season series against the Cowboys with the win. McNeese State defeated New Orleans 65-52 on Jan. 18. New Orleans faces Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at home on Wednesday. McNeese State faces Southeastern Louisiana at home on Wednesday.
