WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Jordan Howard had 21 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals, Derreck Brooks scored 20 points with seven assists and Central Arkansas beat Army 81-76 on Sunday in the mainland Maui Jim Maui Invitational.

Army pulled to 79-76 with 25 seconds left on John Emezie's 3-pointer but Tanner Schmit sealed it at the line. It was Army's only points in the final 2:30.

Mathieu Kamba added 13 points, eight rebounds and three assists for Central Arkansas (1-3). Howard and Brooks combined to make all seven of Central Arkansas' 3-pointers and the duo had 13 of the Bears' 21 assists.

Luke Morrison had 19 points and six rebounds for Army (1-3). Matthew Wilson added 13 points and seven boards.

Army struggled early, only making three of its first 14 3-pointers but finished 12 of 36 -- with five from Morrison and three from Emezie.
