TEANECK, N.J. -- Darian Anderson scored 25 points as Fairleigh Dickinson ended LIU Brooklyn's six-game winning streak with an 83-66 victory on Saturday.
Anderson was 6 of 9 from the floor and 11 of 12 from the line for the Knights (9-10, 7-1 NEC). Stephan Jiggetts added 14 points and Mike Holloway had 12 points and five rebounds.
The Knights went up 40-28 at the break on 15-of-26 (57.7 percent) shooting from the floor during the first half. The Blackbirds (13-8, 6-2) were just 6 of 20 (30 percent) in the period and had 12 turnovers; seven of which were steals by Fairleigh Dickinson.
Holloway sank a layup and Mike Schroback followed with a 3-pointer to stretch the Knights' intermission advantage to 62-43 with 8:49 to play. They held a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
Jerome Frink led the Blackbirds with 20 points and 10 rebounds, his ninth double-double this season.
