NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Devontae Cacok scored 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds and UNC-Wilmington ran away from Toledo 102-77 at the Challenge in Music City on Sunday.
Chris Flemmings and C.J. Bryce had 14 points apiece and Denzel Ingram added 12 points and nine assists. UNCW (5-1) shot nearly 57 percent overall. The Seahawks generated 24 points off turnovers and had 16 fast-break points.
Toledo (3-4) was led by Jonathan Williams with 16 points and eight rebounds. Steve Taylor Jr and Taylor Adway scored 13 points apiece. The Rockets hit on just 4 of 19 (21 percent) 3-point attempts.
UNCW led by three, 42-39, at intermission and shot 61 percent after the break. The Seahawks opened the second half with a 23-8 run to lead 66-49 at the midway point of the half following a layup by Bryce. The lead reached 26 on a 3-pointer by Jaylen Fornes with a little over 4 minutes left.
