HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Earl Potts Jr. scored 22 points and Fairleigh Dickinson took a 92-73 victory over Central Connecticut State on Saturday.
Potts was 8 of 10 from the field and 4 of 6 from 3-point range in besting 20 points for the fifth time this season. Marques Townes was 6 of 7 in matching his career high of 18 for the fifth time.
Darian Anderson added 13 points for the Knights (7-8, 3-1 Northeast), who shot 56 percent and were 10 of 19 from the arc. They made 13 steals.
With Fairleigh Dickinson trailing 11-4, Potts scored eight straight points to start a 26-2 run. The Knights led 50-32 at halftime and were ahead by as many as 30 in the second half.
Austin Nehls scored 16 points to lead the Blue Devils (1-14, 0-4), who have lost six straight. Malik Toppin and Jahlil Nials added career bests of 14 and 13 points, respectively.
