NEW YORK -- Tyreek Jewell scored 17 points and Jon Doss 15 and St. Francis Brooklyn beat St. Francis (Pennsylvania) 73-56 on Thursday night.
Doss made 5 of 6 3-point attempts. Antonio Jenifer and Yunus Hopkinson added 10 points each with Jenifer logging eight rebounds and Hopkinson six assists. The Terriers (5-11, 1-2 Northeast), though only 44 percent from the floor, hit 12 of 24 from the arc and 17 of 20 free throws.
Greg Brown scored 19 points to lead the Red Flash (6-8, 2-1). Ronnie Drinnon added 11 points and 11 rebounds while Isaiah Blackmon scored 10 points. The Terriers shot just 33 percent, though made 16 of 20 free throws.
The Terriers never trailed and led 36-31 at halftime. Leading by six with five minutes left, they finished on a 16-5 run
The Terriers snapped a four-game losing streak in beating the Red Flash for the sixth consecutive time.
