DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Mario Moody had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Randy Holmes added 14 points and eight boards and Bethune-Cookman beat Trinity Baptist 78-49 on Thursday night.
Ricky Johnson and Quinton Forrest added 12 points each and Jordan Potts scored 11 for the Wildcats (3-4), who snapped a four-game losing streak before starting conference play hosting South Carolina State on Monday.
The Wildcats took advantage of the Eagles' 22 turnovers to score 35 points.
Marquel Perry had 19 points and Michael Randolph scored 10 for Trinity Baptist, a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II program.
The Wildcats took the early lead despite making just two of their first 16 field-goal attempts and closed the first half on an 8-1 run to lead 40-23 at intermission. Trinity Baptist got no closer than 13 in the second half.
