Rider rolls over Quinnipiac 75-52
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. -- Kahlil Thomas scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for his seventh double-double in his last nine games and Rider rolled over Quinnipiac 75-52 on Sunday to win the fourth of its last five at home.
Jimmie Taylor scored 14 points with four 3-pointers, Teddy Okereafor scored 10 points with five assists and Khalil Alford added 11 points.
Xavier Lundy had a career-high three blocks for the Broncs (7-13, 3-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic), who never trailed and shot 45.5 percent, including 6 of 19 from beyond the arc.
Leading by 10 at halftime, Rider pulled ahead on a 12-6 run and led 54-35 with 10:42 to play. Lundy's free throw with 2:45 to play gave Rider a 21-point lead and the Broncs continued to pull away.
Abdulai Bundu scored 16 points and Giovanni McLean added 14 for the Bobcats (5-12, 2-6), who shot 27.7 percent and have lost four straight.
