OXFORD, Ohio -- Mo Evans scored 15 points with seven assists and four steals to help IPFW down Miami (Ohio) 57-53 on Tuesday.

Evans was 50 percent from the floor and 3 of 5 from beyond the arc for IPFW (4-1). John Konchar had 13 points with six boards and Max Landis added 10 points, despite 3-of-13 shooting.

Eric Washington and Geovonie McKnight had 10 points apiece to pace Miami (3-3). Rod Mills chipped in 10 rebounds.

Close throughout, Mills' jumper put Miami up one with 1:48 left. Konchar responded with a jumper and Landis' layup put IPFW up by three with 47 seconds left. The Mastodons made 6 of 8 from the line in the last 29 seconds to seal it.

The Redhawks outrebounded IPFW 42-32, but went 2 of 15 on 3-pointers.
