Bisping with 27 points leads Siena 77-66 over Marist
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Brett Bisping scored 27 points with 18 rebounds to lead Siena to a 77-66 win over Marist on Saturday night.
Bisping was 10 of 14 from the field including a pair of 3-pointers for the Saints (15-7, 8-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Nico Clareth added 13 points and Lavon Long had 10. Siena had a 44-32 rebounding edge over Marist.
Bisping and Ryan Oliver hit back-to-back 3-pointers to start the first half and Siena led all the way, taking it to 47-29 at halftime.
Marist never threatened in the second half and Bisping scored 17 points in the period, striking from inside the paint and from distance for the Saints who took their biggest lead, 70-48, on a Bisping tip shot with 6:55 to play.
Khallid Hart had 22 points and Brian Parker 20 for the Red Foxes (4-16, 1-10) who have lost 10-straight games.
