Brown, Bowman help High Point edge Radford 75-72 in OT
RADFORD, Va. -- John Brown and Miles Bowman Jr. scored 17 points apiece and High Point topped Radford 75-72 in overtime on Saturday.
Bowman had four of his career-high in the extra session, including a tip-in with 58 seconds left to give the Panthers (18-9, 11-5 Big South) a 75-70 lead.
Ed Polite Jr. had a dunk for Radford with 17 seconds left but after John Brown missed two free throws at seven seconds, Rashun Davis missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Davis missed a 3 at the end of regulation after High Point's Anthony Lindauer made a 3 with five seconds left to tie the game at 66.
Cameron Jones had 22 points for Radford (15-13, 8-8), Davis had 14 and Polite 13 and 10 rebounds.
Adam Weary had 10 points for High Point.
