Prairie View keeps Grambling winless in conference, 95-44
GRAMBLING, La. -- Tre Hagood scored 15 points and Jayrn Johnson added 14 as Prairie View beat Grambling 95-44, handing the Tigers their 21st straight Division I loss.
Prairie View led the entire game and scored 44 points off of 32 Grambling State turnovers.
Zachary Hamilton had 12 points, Montrael Scott added 11 and Reggis Onwukamuche had 10 to help Prairie View (9-16, 7-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) win its third consecutive game for the second time this season.
Prairie View held a 43-19 lead at halftime, led by Onwukamuche's 10 points and eight boards. He finished with 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
A'Torri Shine hit all seven of his free throws and finished with 15 points for Grambling (2-21, 0-13). Freshman Kyle Williams had a season-high 10 rebounds. The Tigers were held to 13-of-46 shooting (28.3 percent).
