BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Jalen Cannon scored 23 points and hauled in 15 rebounds, his 16th double-double of the season, to help lead St. Francis-Brooklyn to a 66-54 win over St. Francis (PA) on Saturday.
Brent Jones added 15 points and four assists for the Terriers (20-9, 14-2 Northeast Conference), who have won eight straight games and clinched their third Northeast Conference regular season crown.
St. Francis-Brooklyn has won 20 of its last 24 after opening the season 0-5, and claimed its first 20 win season since 1998-99.
The Terriers ripped off a 9-2 run late in the second half that broke a 44-44 tie and gave them the lead for good. The Red Flash (14-13, 8-8) briefly cut the lead back to four, but got no closer.
Greg Brown scored 15 to lead the Red Flash.
Saint Francis (PA) has lost eight straight following an overtime game.
