St. Francis defeated Mount St. Vincent 90-72
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Brent Jones finished with 25 points, six rebounds and six assists to lead St. Francis Brooklyn to a 90-72 win over Mount St. Vincent, a Division III opponent, on Saturday.
Jalen Cannon had 18 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks and Glenn Sanabria added 15 points and six boards for St. Francis. Cannon made 8 of 9 shots from the field.
James Zuccaro had 20 points and nine rebounds and Ammad Alkhulaidi and Jamir Ferebee each added 17 points for Mount St. Vincent. Ferebee also made three 3-pointers for the Dolphins.
After Zuccaro's 3-pointer put the Dolphins up 37-24, St. Francis charged back with a 20-6 run to take a one-point halftime lead. After Ferebee's free throw kept Mount St. Vincent within one at the half, St. Francis scored 41 of the last 61 points to pull away.
