NEW YORK -- Brent Jones scored 22 points with six assists as St. Francis (NY) handed Central Connecticut State its seventh conference loss with a 63-51 win Wednesday night.
Jalen Cannon added 15 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Terriers (12-8, 6-1 Northeast Conference) and Tyreek Jewell chipped in 14 points. The team hit 54 percent from the field overall and 53.8 percent from the free throw line.
The Blue Devils (2-18, 0-7) led 34-30 at the break but fell apart in the second half, finishing just 19 of 49 (38.8 percent) from the field, 6 of 9 (66.7 percent) from the line and sinking 7 of 17 (41.2 percent) from beyond the arc.
Matt Mobley scored 17 points to lead the Blue Devils who have now lost eleven-straight games. Brandon Peel had eight points and led the team with 10 rebounds.
