San Francisco beats Pacific 65-55
SAN FRANCISCO -- Kruize Pinkins scored 18 points and San Francisco made a second half surge to take control and beat Pacific 65-55 on Saturday.
Pinkins was 7 of 10 from the floor as San Francisco (13-17, 7-11 West Coast) shot 48 percent, despite going 4 of 18 from beyond the arc. Mark Tollefsen added 14 points while Devin Watson and Tim Derksen had 12 points apiece.
San Francisco used a 12-0 run midway through the second half -- including 3-pointers by Pinkins and Chris Adams -- to turn a five-point deficit into a seven-point advantage and the Dons never trailed again.
David Taylor and Alec Kobre made back-to-back 3-pointers near the end of the first half to help give Pacific a 29-27 lead at the break.
Taylor paced Pacific with 16 points. T.J. Wallace added nine points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers.
