LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Chris Hass scored 20 points on Sunday, Nana Foulland added 17, and Bucknell beat Boston University 78-69 for the Bison's fifth straight win.
Bucknell (17-12, 12-4 Patriot) extended its lead to 53-33 with a 9-0 run early in the second half. BU (12-15, 8-8) got the deficit back within single digits in the final minute, but never threatened the outcome.
Haas was 4 of 7 from 3-point range and J.C. Show was 3 of 4 to finish with nine points. The Bison clinched at least a share of the league title as second-place Colgate (10-6) lost 80-78 in triple overtime to Loyola (Md.).
The Bison took their first double digit lead at 29-19 with a 7-0 run in the first half and finished the period up 38-28.
Cedric Hankerson had 19 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Terriers and Eric Fanning added 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
