Rider beats Saint Peter's 68-55 for 6th win in row
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. -- Jimmie Taylor scored 15 points and Zedric Sadler and Matt Lopez 14 apiece as Rider won its sixth straight game with a 68-55 victory over Saint Peter's on Saturday.
The six-game winning streak is the longest for the Broncs (10-6, 4-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) since the 2010-11 season.
Marvin Dominique scored 13 points for the Peacocks (8-9, 2-4), who shot only 32.8 percent, including just 6 of 24 from 3-point range.
Rider led for all but 48 seconds early in the game and was up 39-25 at halftime. A 12-4 run at the start of the second half, including six points by Lopez, built a 51-29 lead with 11:26 left to play. Rider led by as many as 25 points before clearing the bench.
Rider made 25 of 51 shots for 49 percent and was 7 of 16 from the arc (43.8).
