Wyoming beats San Jose State 46-38
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Riley Grabau scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds Saturday as Wyoming held San Jose State to just four second half field goals in a 46-38 win.
Trailing 29-26 at the break, Wyoming (16-9, 7-5 Mountain West Conference) opened the second half with an 11-2 run sparked by a Derek Cooke Jr. dunk and then held San Jose State to a season-low nine second half points to cement the win. It's the fewest total points the Cowboys have allowed in Mountain West play.
Larry Nance Jr. contributed six points and nine rebounds for Wyoming, which last week snapped San Diego State's 20-game winning streak with a 68-62 victory.
San Jose State (6-19, 0-13) shot just 28 percent overall in its lowest scoring game of the season.
Isaac Thornton led the Spartans with 14 points, while Chris Cunningham added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
