BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- George Fant scored 21 points in leading Western Kentucky past a stubborn Texas State team winning 68-64 on Saturday night.

With a minute left and the game tied at 62, T.J. Price scored on a layup, and following a Texas turnover, hit one of two free throws and the Hilltppers led 65-62. Western Kentucky (15-7, 7-2) closed-out netting 3 of 4 from the penalty stripe in preserving the win.
Texas State's Joel Wright scored 18 and Wesley Davis notched 16 points, while Price (13 points) has scored in double figures in 29 of his last 33 games for Western Kentucky.
