IUPUI overwhelms Judson 112-50
INDIANAPOLIS -- Donovan Gibbs scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead IUPUI to a 112-50 victory over Judson on Thursday night to snap a five-game losing streak.
Ian Chiles added 18 points, Josh James a career-high 17, Khufu Najee 11 and 11 rebounds and Ja'Rob McCallum 10 points for the Jaguars (5-12), who won their final nonconference game before beginning Summit League play at home against South Dakota State next week.
Gibbs made 13 of 16 field-goal attempts. The team shot 56.8 percent, scoring 62 points in the paint and hitting 7 of 15 from 3-point range. The Jaguars had a 55-22 rebounding advantage.
IUPUI led the entire game, holding a 64-27 lead at halftime. The Jaguars went over 100 points for the first time since Nov. 11, 2011 -- Todd Howard's first game as head coach.
The NAIA Eagles were led by Andrew Eck with 23 points.
