HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Chip Armelin scored 16 points as Southern Miss had six players in double figures, scored 61 first-half points and routed William Carey 99-54 on Saturday and remained undefeated.
Neil Watson made 4 of 5 from beyond the 3-point arc and scored 14 points for the Golden Eagles (6-0). Matt Bingaya also had 14 points, Michael Craig had 12, Daveon Boardingham had 11 and Aaron Brown had 10 for Southern Miss.
