N. Florida gets road win at Savannah St., 65-61
SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Dallas Moore and Travis Wallace combined to score 35 points to lead North Florida to a home-and-home sweep of Savannah State, 65-61 Tuesday night.
Moore hit a pair of free throws with :26 left in the game to push the Ospreys' lead to four points, and after Joshua Montgomery's layup halved the lead, Wallace converted the first of two from the line to make it a three-point game.
More was a perfect 7 of 7 from the line to finish with a game-high 18 points. Wallace added 17 points and Charles McRoy 10.
Hikeem Champaigne finished with 13 points to lead Savannah State, with Montgomery adding 11 and Jeremiah Hill 10.
The Ospreys (4-3) scored a 66-63 home court win over the Savannah State last week and became the first road team to earn a win in the 16-game all-time series with the Tigers.
