Starks, Bryant run away from Dartmouth 87-75
HANOVER, N.H, -- Dyami Starks scored 35 points to lead Bryant to an 87-75 win over Dartmouth on Wednesday night.
Bryant opened the game with a 16-4 run and led from wire-to-wire.
Starks hit 10 of 18 field goals, including 5 of 8 from behind the 3-point line, and matched his career-high for points, which he set in the team's season-opening loss to Gonzaga on Nov. 19.
Alex Motila, who finished with 15 points, hit his third 3-point shot of the first half with 4:39 left in the first half to pull Dartmouth (1-1) within three, 29-26, but they would never get any closer.
Corey Maynard added 18 points, on 6-of-8 shooting, for Bryant (1-1). The Bulldogs shot 59.2 percent (29 of 49) from the field.
Gabs Maldunas finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. Tyler Melville added 13 points.
