PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Myles Mack had 21 points, eight assists and five steals to lift Rutgers to an 89-72 win over UNC-Greensboro on Saturday.
Kadeem Jack contributed 18 points and Wally Judge scored 13 on 6-for-6 shooting for the Scarlet Knights (5-7), who had four players score in double figures to snap a six-game losing streak against Division I competition.
Rutgers led for all but the first two minutes, using a 19-6 run over the final five minutes of the first half to cruise into intermission leading 52-33.
Kyle Cain had 18 points, Tevon Saddler scored 13 and Kayel Locke added 11 points for UNC-Greensboro (5-6), which lost to Rutgers for the second straight year.
The Scarlet Knights led by as much as 23 points, but saw their lead evaporate to 71-62 with five minutes to play after a 13-0 UNC-Greensboro run.
J.J. Moore added 12 points off the bench for Rutgers, which iced the victory by scoring nine straight points after its lead dwindled to nine.
The win for the Scarlet Knights was their first against Division I competition since a 66-51 triumph over Canisius on Nov. 18. They entered Saturday's action mired in their longest non-conference Division I losing streak over one season in program history.
Rutgers' lone victory since then was a 116-89 rout of Stillman, a Division II school, on Nov. 25.
The Scarlet Knights shot 50 percent from the field, 9 of 20 from beyond the 3-point arc, and improved to 5-0 all-time versus teams from the Southern Conference.
