RUSTON, La. -- Raheem Appleby led seven Louisiana Tech players in double figures with 15 points as it steamrolled NAIA's Central Baptist 118-48 Wednesday night.
Isaiah Massey (12 points), Kenyon McNeail (12), Michale Kyser (11), Stojan Gjuroski (11), Cordarius Johnson (10) and Gilbert Talbot (10) helped Louisiana Tech (24-3) set a season-high for points scored and set a program record for its 16th straight victory.
Louisiana Tech scored the first 13 points of the game and led at halftime 59-21.
The Bulldogs never trailed and led by as many as 73 points in the second half.
Louisiana Tech shot 50 percent (47 of 94) while holding the Central Baptist to just 25 percent (18 of 72) for the game.
The Bulldogs scored 42 points off 20 Mustang turnovers and outscored Central Baptist 18-0 on fast-break points.
Blake Hanney scored 23 points to lead the Mustangs (6-24), who have lost three straight.
