BURLINGTON, Vt. -- John Papale scored a career-high 19 points to help Boston University complete the season sweep of Vermont, 64-59, Tuesday night.
Dom Morris posted 12 points and 10 rebounds while D.J. Irving, the Terriers' leading scorer, balanced a rough shooting night -- the guard made 2 of 11 shots -- with six assists.
The game was close throughout, with 15 lead changes and eight ties. Neither team led by more than five until Travis Robinson followed a Papale 3-pointer with two free throws to give Boston a 57-51 advantage with 1:14 left.
The Catamounts (16-8, 9-3 America East Conference) cut it to 59-55 with 38 seconds showing but were outscored 5-4 the rest of the way.
Boston (14-11, 8-4) shot just 39 percent (22 of 56) but made 13 of 15 free throws, compared to 11 of 15 for Vermont.
Brian Voelkel had 10 points and 12 boards for Vermont.
