KENT, Ohio -- Randal Holt scored 17 points and hit five treys to become Kent State's career 3-point leader as the Golden Flashes defeated Eastern Michigan 77-62 Saturday night, snapping a four-game losing streak.
Holt's fifth 3-pointer, No. 211, came with 11:34 remaining, pushing him ahead of Trevor Huffman (1998-2002) on Kent State's all-time list. He shot 5 of 10 for the game.
The Golden Flashes (12-10, 3-5 Mid-American Conference) made 37.5 percent from long range (9 of 24) against the Eagles' 2/3 zone, including 41.7 percent (5 of 12) in the second half.
