NEWARK, N.J. -- Chris Flores scored 32 points without missing a shot and became New Jersey Institute of Technology's career scoring leader Wednesday night as the Highlanders routed Fisher 108-69.
Flores, the leading scorer in the Great West Conference, established a career high of 32 points on perfect shooting. He was 11 for 11 on field goal attempts, 7 of 7 on 3-pointers and 3 for 3 at the foul line.
The last player to score at least 30 points while not missing a shot from the field and making at least seven 3-pointers was Oregon's Bryce Taylor. He had the same scoring line as Flores on March 10, 2007.
Flores surpassed Isaiah Wilkerson, who finished with 1,577 career points last season, as NJIT's career scoring leader in its seventh year in Division I. Flores now has 1,604 points.
Tyler Shular led Fisher, an NAIA D-II college from Boston, with 22 points.
