POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Chavaughn Lewis finished with 19 points and nine rebounds to lead Marist past St. Peter's 59-48 Saturday night in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game.
Isaiah Morton added 10 points and career-high seven boards to help Marist (5-14, 2-6) snap an eight-game losing streak.
Adam Kemp chipped in eight points and a career-high 18 rebounds to give Marist the rebounding edge 43-30.
St. Peter's (6-12, 1-7) shot 25.9 percent (7 of 27) in the first half and trailed at halftime 27-17.
The Peacocks got within seven points in the second half when Darius Conley's jumper made it 42-35 with 6:32 left to play, but that was the closest St. Peter's would get as Marist answered with a 12-4 run to make it 54-39 with 3:22 remaining.
Conley finished with 16 points and nine rebounds for the Peacocks, who have lost six straight games.
