OREM, Utah -- Marcel Davis scored 17 points and Jarred Shaw scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace Utah State to a 69-63 victory over Utah Valley on Saturday night.
The lead changed hands 10 times, most of those in the first half, before Utah State (6-1) took control.
Utah State shot 54.7 percent from the floor, had a 35-20 rebounding advantage and its bench outscored Utah Valley (5-7) 17-0.
