CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Arlon Harper scored a career-high 30 points, Jeremy Sexton had 20 and Saah Nimley got 20 points and a career-high 12 assists to lead Charleston Southern to a 101-73 victory over The Citadel on Tuesday.
Sexton entered with 986 career points and became the 19th Buccaneers' player to surpass 1,000 in his career.
In a night of milestones, Mike Groselle had 18 points to lead The Citadel (3-4) and also passed the 1,000-point mark while jumping over Virgil Steven and Jamie Jenkins on the career scoring list for the Bulldogs.
Cedrick Bowen scored 14 for the Buccaneers (3-5). It was Harper's third consecutive game with 20 or more points.
Lawrence Miller scored 14 for the Bulldogs, Ashton Moore 12, Matt Van Scyoc 11 and Marshall Harris III 10.
Charleston Southern shot 14 of 26 from 3-point range and outrebounded The Citadel 34-22.
