HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Tim Rusthoven scored 23 points and Marcus Thornton added 21 -- including a game-high three 3-pointers -- and William & Mary beat High Point 83-61 Saturday.
William & Mary (3-0) is off to its best start since the 1992-93 season.
William & Mary broke up an 11-10 game with a 22-2 run to take a 32-13 lead with 2:14 left in the first half.
The Tribe pushed their lead to 54-31 in the second half behind a layup from Thornton.
Thornton made 8 of 14 shots and also dished a team-high five assists. His third 3-pointer of the game put the Tribe ahead 42-25 in the second half.
