BOSTON (AP) -- Freshman Rashad Green scored 16 of his season-high 20 points in the second half and Manhattan led wire-to-wire Saturday in a 72-65 victory over Boston University.
Green, whose previous high was nine points, led five Jaspers in double figures and also shared for the game-high in rebounds with nine.
Devon Austin, who didn't finish the game after taking a shot near the right eye, and Jamel Ferguson both had 13 points for Manhattan (4-3), while Patrick Bouli had 12 points and Antoine Pearson 10 points.
Carlos Strong scored 25 points and Corey Lowe, who came off the bench after missing the last two games for personal reasons, added 23 for the Terriers (1-6) who have lost six in a row after winning their opener.
The Jaspers held BU scoreless for the first 7:33 while building a 9-0 lead and went up by 14 12:16 into the game.
The Terriers closed to within two points late in the first half and trailed 30-26 at halftime. But they had one field goal in the first 9:25 of the second half and fell behind by as many as 17.
