Tulane 70, Rice 53

HOUSTON (AP) -- Quincy Davis and Ryan Williams each scored 14

points to help lead Tulane to a 70-53 win over Rice on Saturday

night.

Davis had a team-high nine rebounds, and Vytas Tatarunas added

13 points and six rebounds for the Green Wave (6-12, 2-4 Conference

USA).

Tulane, which led by only two points at the half, made 63

percent of its field goals in the second half and outscored Rice

47-32.

Lorenzo Williams scored 25 points, including nine on

free-throws, for the Owls (9-10, 3-4). J.R. Harrison added 11

points.
