Louisiana Tech 66, New Mexico State 61

RUSTON, La. (AP) -- Paul Millsap's double-double of 21 points and

14 rebounds helped lead Louisiana Tech to a 66-61 victory over New

Mexico State Saturday.

Millsap was 8-of-12 from the floor and 5-of-9 from the free

throw line. Marcus Elliott added 13 points for the Bulldogs (12-7,

5-1 Western Athletic Conference).

Elijah Ingram led New Mexico State (7-9, 3-2) with 15 points.

Tyrone Nelson added 14 and Kevin Ford finished with 13.

Louisiana Tech led 35-30 at the half. Both teams scored 31

points in the second half, as the Bulldogs withstood a late New

Mexico State rally.
