Weber State beats UC Davis 86-58 in Great Alaska Shootout
ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Dusty Baker made five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 21 points, Jeremy Senglin added four 3s and 20 points, and Weber State beat UC Davis 86-58 on Thursday night in the Great Alaska Shootout.
Weber State made 13 of 25 from distance (52 percent).
UC Davis was within seven points early in the second half but Weber State scored the next seven points for a 48-34 lead and the Wildcats led by double figures the rest of the way. The lead reached 21 points with 6:44 remaining on Baker's 3-pointer.
Cody John had two 3s and 12 points for Weber State (2-2), which closed the first half on a 30-12 spurt to take a 39-32 lead.
Joe Mooney led UC Davis (4-2) with 12 points on 4-of-4 shooting and Siler Schneider added 11.
It was the Aggies' inaugural game in the longest running regular-season tournament.
