Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 2 days agoDybantsa recorded 11 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists and four steals across 23 minutes in Thursday's 111-109 preseason win over the Knicks.
Spin: Dybantsa made an impact on the defensive end, leading both teams with four steals while committing no turnovers. The young forward was less effective offensively, missing all three of his attempts from beyond the arc and needing 11 shots to score 11 points. Mistakes are bound to happen for rookie players, and Dybantsa will be allowed to play through his.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Dybantsa was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft and enters the league as a scorer. He led the NCAA in scoring average as a freshman at BYU and was one of the leading scorers at the Las Vegas Summer League as well. Dybantsa has the size of a big forward but the ball-handling ability of a wing. He is great at getting to his spot and scoring from the mid-range, and he is also adept at drawing fouls and getting to the line. Dybantsa has a good chance to lead all rookies in scoring and establish himself as a fantasy starter immediately.
