INSIDE THE BAYLOR BEARS' CLASS

The folks at Baylor are calling Kim Mulkey's class the Fierce Five. Four of the prospects were McDonald's All Americans. Get the picture?

The brightest prospect in the class may be No. 3 Aquira DeCosta, a McDonald's All American who won gold with USA Basketball this past summer and was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup. She's as athletic as athletic can be and is well-versed in winning at St. Mary's (Stockton, California).

But there are four others headed Waco's way who also are in the discussion.

Queen Egbo, a 6-3 post player out of Houston, is the No. 7 prospect. She floods the paint with athleticism and grace.

NaLyssa Smith, the No. 13 prospect, a McDonald's All American and a versatile 6-2 forward, wows with her ability to pass, handle the ball and battle for rebounds.

Point guard Honesty Scott-Grayson, the No. 20 prospect and a McDonald's All American, is smooth on offense and disruptive on defense.

Wing Caitlin Bickle, the No. 29 prospect, brings a high motor and range to the arc.

We could go on and on about the depth in this class, but as you can see, we're out of space.
